I will be entering into a worship apprenticeship at Westside Church of Christ in Russellville, AR from August-December. While at Westside, I will be working under Zac George in order to build up my skill set in a cappella worship leading, learn about and practice putting together a cohesive and edifying worship set, develop a firm understanding of the technology used in the modern worship setting, and dive into the history of music in the church as well as the motivations for worshipping God in song.
The most important thing I need is prayer. I’m hoping to work hard to develop what it takes to be an edifying worship minister for the cause of Christ, and the prayers of righteous people are effective and powerful.
Secondly, in order to get the most out of my time at Westside, I will need financial assistance. Although I will already have income from working with Russellville public schools for those four months, I still need supplemental income in order to successfully complete the apprenticeship without falling behind on my day to day expenses (food, gas, student loans, etc.)
I hope you’ll consider giving, but please continue to be in prayer as I jump into this next adventure in Russellville!
Thank you for your time, and may God bless you in your ministry.
